The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra is a renowned and internationally acclaimed Viennese chamber orchestra that translates the glamorous era of imperial Vienna into music. Playing mostly the compositions of Strauss (both the elder and the younger) at the Orangery of Schoenbrunn Palace, the orchestra also tours in Europe and the United States.

The orchestra attaches great importance to Viennese style interpretation of the pieces they play, therefore excelling in the works of classical Viennese composers, with a subtle and individual touch, always adding that special “Viennese” flavor.

The orchestra was established in 1994. All members of the ensemble are highly talented virtuosos who have performed in numerous well-known orchestras and concert halls both in Austria and abroad. This orchestra sets itself apart by interpreting music with a unified sound, and a delightful stage presence and impeccable appearance.
