In 1985 five Spanish musicians created an eclectic and innovative project that they have been developing over the years in different fields:  music, performance, education and creation.  Today they tour all over the world with courses intended for chamber music and recordings.

SPANISH BRASS performs concertante works with orchestras and as a quintet.  Their repertoire is one of the most painstakingly thought-out aspects of their performances, along with the staging.  They regularly cooperate with other internationally renowned artists.  They are also committed to the development and creation of new forms of music, working with both famous composers and with young people of great influence. They have published nine CD’s and a DVD-CD showing their many facets.

They have also set up the Academia Spanish Brass, where they give classes to musicians from all over Spain and which culminates with two international events:  Spanish BrasSurround Torrent and the Spanish Brass-Alzira Festival where each year some of the most renowned international brass soloists, groups and musicians get together.  Members have given classes internationally in Hong Kong, Japan, Finland, Venezuela, in the USA at the University of Georgia and Eastman School, as well as many locations in Spain.
